Antarctica: a continent for science
In this talk I explore why Antarctica is so important to the world of science and relevant to our understanding of the future global environment. It is a touchstone of environmental change and can tell us much about our past...and our future. I have explored some of the key scientific sites with world class environmental scientists and here share my insights, illustrated by amazing photographs.
Antarctica is a continent where science is the first priority. Novel ways of extracting data from its environment help us understand past climates and how the continent affects our whole planet.

"I would like to thank you for coming to speak to our society. We believe you were one
of the best we have had in a long time and you had the large audience in the palm
of your hand from the beginning. Your pictures and commentary were first class. We will definitely
have you back - the sooner the better."
